Amino Acids

Amino Acids are chemical strands of protein which are commonly used to aid in muscle recovery phases. They help to speed up the reparation phase after strength training.

Amino Acids are known to be the “building blocks” of protein; as protein works as fuel for your muscles, it therefore makes your body’s muscles mend faster to build and repair broken muscle fibres.

Amino Acids are often found in two forms:

BCAA: Branched Chain Amino Acids
(Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine)

EAA: Essential Amino Acids:
(Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, and Valine)
